Title: Everquest - Windows XP - DirectX (D3DX9_43.DLL)

If anyone is running Windows XP and Everquest, they may experience issues with the EQ Launcher since the most recent patch.  I had an issue on the FLBot account, since it runs on a Windows XP machine, so just in case others have the same issue, here's the steps I took to resolve it:

1) https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/kb/179113

2) Go to the above link, scroll down the page to where it says:

Install DirectX End-User Runtime if your application or game requires an earlier version of DirectX

To resolve this issue, go to the following Microsoft website to install DirectX End-User Runtime:

DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=159853)


3) Follow the above link.  Run the installer.

Thought it was using windows 95.
