Freelance Ramblings / BST heal proc test

So, I've been fiddling around with heal sticks this expansion.  By heal sticks, I mean LS T2/T3 weaps with heal procs and Reactive healing augs.  Anecdotally, i find these weapons generate Actual healing approximately equal to 1/2 the Actual healing of a maxed out Cleric Merc.  Overall, the Cleric merc puts out a lot more Total healing, but much of it is wasted due to heals going over max HP.  Heal procs from weapons are for smaller amounts and spread more evenly over time, so is not unusual to see 90% healing efficiency or better from heal procs.  A merc might run closer to 50% efficiency.

To get a better feel for just how much healing is generated, i ran some parses in the arena over on Test.  These parses are only 15 minutes each and both were done on my BST.  I'll have to run these again on my Bard or Rog once they complete Achievements in NoS and LS to make the reactive Augs.

One thing that stood out is how much more healing i got when running BST Bloodlust AA.  I have typically viewed Bloodlust as an Offensive AA exclusively.  This opens up defensive possibilities, at least for 42 seconds, which is how long Bloodlust lasts.

Raid Performance / attributable dps emotes and affects

I've tried to list attributable effects for all the classes in the other dps thread, but I might have missed some.

Let's get all the attributable effects here for quick references.  I don't want this to turn into DPS theory.  We can do that in the other DPS thread.

Just list in the following format

Wizard / wizard burn keys

I set up some burn hotkeys.  they seem to be working ok.   These are for level 90.

base crit chance:  approx 33%

For all these, you should click in the following order to prepare for the burn.
1.  Improved Twincast AA first.  It only has 10 counters, but lasts 2 minute, so you can set up before firing your burn key
2.  Silent Casting.  It last 1 minute 40 seconds, but it has a cast timer, so you want to click it on inc.
3.  Twincast Spell when Twincast AA fades.  This will extend your burn another 18 seconds.  It is insta-cast, but you lose a

couple sec while spell gems refresh


Burn 7th:

Intensity of the Resolute
  inc chance to crit 50% for 1 minute
Fire Familiar
  Increase Spell Damage by 1% to 35%

/alt activate 1152 Fury of Ro (add 800 damage to Fire spells for 5 minutes) INSTA-CAST
/alt activate 1668 Acute Focus of Arcanum (decrease spell resist 35% for 3 minutes) INSTA-CAST

These keys are for a fire-spec'd wizard
Shaman epic doesn't do anything for us.  it is a melee modifier.

Raid Performance / + % damage mod question for Bard/War/Paladin

Do you guys have a way to boost you damage during burns?

I usually don't cast my Group Bestial Alignment during burns because most melee have a way to boost there damage higher that GBA provides.

Here is GBA detail
2: Cast: Group Bestial Alignment Form
4: Increase Chance to Resist Spell by 20%
5: Increase Hit Damage by 30%

I can cast it during burns if it helps you guys out.

I vetted this over on EQ forums, so I think it is correct.

This should tell you what effects stack and what don't

My buff effect stacking rules
Damage Bonus (similar to the damage bonus you see on weaps and Faycite shards):
inc to damage bonuses stack, but they are not affected by inc % to melee damage
damage bonus does not affect crits. 
crits are based on base damage of spells and melee, with bonus applied afterwards

Increase to non-Crit damage:
inc % to melee damage does NOT stack
inc % to DD spell damage does NOT stack
inc % to DoT spell damage does NOT stack

Increase to Crit chance:
inc melee crit chance does NOT stack
inc DD spell crit chance stacks
inc DoT spell crit chance stacks

Increase to Crit damage:
inc % to melee crit damage stacks
inc % to DD spell crit damage does NOT stack
inc % to DoT spell crit damage stacks

Incease chance to hit:
inc chance to hit does NOT stack

Incease to accuracy:
inc accuracy do stack

Increase to haste:
Item haste do NOT stack
Spell haste (V1) do NOT stack
Spell haste songs (V2) do NOT stack
Overhaste (V3) do NOT stack
Item + V1 + V2 capped at 100%

Weapon delay reduction:
100 hands (weapon delay reduction) does not stack

Separate damage shields:
Some DS  stack, but DS is really its own category

Damage shield increases:
DS increases do stack

Other effects:
HP increases are cumalative
Atk increases are cumalitive
AC increases are cumalative
Resist increases are cumalative

Raid Performance / change to Glyph of Cataclysm

From Elidroth in Intenstity of Resolute thread over on eq forums.  on 2/28/2011

The bonus damage on the glyph has been changed from 75% to 60%. The reuse time remains unchanged.

Edit:  He is also looking to Tune 7th, since the benefits are so different from 1 class to the next
