Great guide :) . Thanks Sancus for taking time to put this together.

I've been out of the loop for some time so not up to speed on new things. What's the best belt for mages these days? Runed Belt of Boromas https://eq.magelo.com/item/147558 is still good?

Upcoming Events & Strategy / Re: TBM - Crypt of Sul - T3 - Anashti Sul

Everyone should shrink for this event. Also, it makes it difficult to run into aura pools when we have 6 - 12 large black creatures loitering around after druids hit their GBW.

How to block GBW illusion on players:

EQ -> Character -> Blocked Buffs -> Form of the Black Wolf

How to block it on pets:

EQ -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs -> Form of the Black Wolf

is this http://eq.magelo.com/item/94656 worth putting into anecro Epic or 1HB ?

1HB? The only primary a necro should ever equip is Epic.

The raid is arguably the most difficult in the game right now. It may take some learning, some dying, and some strat adjustment to beat. That being said, we want to make sure that those who invest the time to learn and attempt the event aren't let down if the event goes away while they're making progress. To ensure that doesn't happen, we're going to make the Plane of War raid a permanent part of the Plane of War.

Additional raid tuning won't be happening anytime soon (since it's been Live less than a week!), though we're always happy to have feedback on how the raid can be improved. There's no reason why we wouldn't adjust tuning in the future if the raid ends up being mostly unbeatable, though we'd like to give those currently attempting it a chance to beat it at its intended difficulty.

Answer to a couple points..
Yes there are new AA and spells coming for your classes. How many we're not 100% sure on as we're still developing them.

Merc AA start at level 20 to get you into the system, but those increases are very small, and you won't get into the higher powered stuff until later.

Heroic Adventures are not going to change based upon what classes you bring, but they can scale based upon level, but only to the highest level character in your group.

Merck ARE allowed into heroic adventures and in fact were tuning them around the 2 player, 2 merc group.

We are releasing 4 zones at launch, with more coming throughout the year.
Number of raids is not finalized. We have planned out probably more than we can make currently.

Bard / Re: Who to bard dps?

If you are still looking for bard info, eqlive forums have class section so I would post your questions there. Also, Public Archives ---> The Champions Rest Inn section has the original bard forum (up to March 2012 I think) so I would search those threads.

The Concert Hall is being rebuilt because the old website went down (owner not playing EQ anymore). You will need to send tell to Darrkin on Rathe or tell him in serverwide channel to approve your registration otherwise it will be rejected as spam.
