Necromancer / Re: Necromancer Guide - EOK

Pact of Destiny (level 101)
http://www.raidloot.com/Spells.aspx?name=50256
Drains your own health in order to heal your target. You may not cast this spell again until its effects wear off of you. I never use this spell.

Malevolent Alliance (level 102)
http://www.raidloot.com/Spells.aspx?name=50262
Nintap and I found that this spell fulminates when it is on a mob at the same time that the mob is hit with 4 different dots in one tick from an/other necro/s. I would recommend casting this spell after 3-4 dots are on the mob, and have a gina trigger showing when other necros are casting, and message for when it fulminates so you don't get overwritten/blocked.
Quote
Forms a malevolent alliance over your target, adding 33849 damage to other necromancer damage over time spells (between level 96 and 110) with a minimum damage dealt of 1600 that land on that target for up to 0:00:18. If 4 spells land in that time, it will trigger a fulmination, dealing much more damage to the target!

Remote Sphere of Decay (level 104)
http://www.raidloot.com/Spells.aspx?name=50268
Position target circle where you want skull totem. Skull totem has AE nukes for 300`, which are disease based. This is direct damage, and does break root/mez etc.

Cleric / Re: Cleric guides

I think I remembered seeing something about this being intended because of the shaman synergy using Shear of Renewal, which was blocked by Regeneration. They said they were changing the SPA or whatever it is called.

Celestial Regeneration now stacks with the spell HoTs that clerics (and shaman) get. Cleric spell HoTs don't stack with Shaman spell HoT though.

EOK AAs

Luminary's Synergy
Quote
This passive ability allows your Shear of Renewal spell to trigger a blessing on your party that will increase the power of the next three healing spells that land on them by 9000 points for up to 12 seconds.  Ranks 1-10 increase the chance to trigger this blessing by 10% per rank.

This works well in combination with Spiritual Swell, makes them crit for up to 83k.

Also note Shear of Renewal now stacks with Cleric's Celestial Regeneration (YAY)!!

EOK Spells

Spirit of Tala'Tak (level 74)
    Nice upgrade for Bih`li.

Responsive Spirit (level 101)
This self buff procs a group heal and group cures when you are hit with direct damage AEs. (they took out the minor curing)

Ancient Alliance (level 103)
Quote
Forms an ancient alliance over your target, placing a healing rain over them when other Shaman, Cleric, or Druid heals (between levels 96 and 110, with a minimum healing value of 5000) land on that target for up to 2m (20 Ticks). If 120 heals are received in that time, it will trigger a fulmination consisting of an even larger healing rain.
This procs a AE heal (of approximately 9-10k) upon landing on target also.
Spiritual Swelling doesn't work to proc the AE heals, or lower the 120 counter.

Chaotic Venom (level 104)
This quick casting spell casts 2 poison dots, and can possibly proc 1 or 2 poison nukes. I noticed that Reefmaw's Bite (one of the nukes) will get locked out when this spell procs Reefmaw (it probably does the same for the other poison nuke, and possibly the two dots if you have them memmed also).

Because the interaction between Battle Leap, Furious Leap, Battle Stomp, and Hastened Leap was bad the following has been changed.

    Battle Stomp has been deleted.
Ranks 1-4 of Hastened Leap are now ranks 2-5 of Furious Leap.
Created new ranks 4-7 of Battle Leap that will reduce the reuse time by 10 seconds per rank.
Rank 8 of Battle Leap now makes the Warcry portion of the ability persistent.
Increased the damage modifier of rank 11 of Battle Leap from 35% to 40%
Increased the damage modifier of rank 12 of Battle Leap from 35% to 45%.

The convenience of changing the buff from Battle Leap to have an infinite duration should hopefully outweigh the inconvenience of having to leap at your target to activate the ability the first time.

Raid Performance / Re: Useful hotkeys/macros/commands

To block multiple levels of mod rods.

/blockspell add me 10765 44806 29971 18800 2538 36017 14733 26843 3426

Edit: I would now suggest storing mod rods you never want to receive on your personal plot, instead of buff blocking them, since there are only 39 slots available to block.

As for No Restoration...apparently there are oozes that spawn that will heal the boss. Killing them quickly might be the solution...maybe pulling them away from the boss.  Not sure when they spawn or exactly where so any information on this would be helpful.

Not sure when they spawn, but I saw Oruatyrim hailing a few times on my logs

Raid Performance / Pet accuracy on raid targets

Little bit of Live tuning:
  • Increased the base accuracy of all pets summoned by spells between levels 101 and 105. This should help them hit NPCs, particularly raid targets, much more often.
    • Ranked pets in these levels now gain much more accuracy per rank than they did before.
    • Boosted the base accuracy of all unfocused pets as well as the accuracy gain per focus level.

Not sure when this will be pushed onto live.

Something I was just wondering about, on some events like Grannus, when the raid is spread out, should we try to split our splashes to certain areas to cover everyone better? Need to check on the range. Healing wards can be targeted to cast swell on. Which makes me wonder if the totems in Stem the Tide are also.

We might want to consider assigning healers to splash certain players (I usually aim for the MA that is in my group). Have melee stay close together so they can all benefit (figure they should be following MA anyway, right?).

Raider Essentials / Lag reduction for GINA triggers
« on: September 04, 2016, 03:53:56 AM »
I turn off other DPS spam for raids, as this is the thing that seems to lag Gina triggers more than anything. If I neglect to change these filters, gina will be lagged throughout raid, and will continue to shout at me after the event is over.

  • Melee
  • Hit for non-melee: Mine Only
  • Melee Crits: Mine Only
  • Other Damage Other: Hide

  • Spells
  • Bard songs on pets: Hide
  • Damage over time: Mine Only
  • Damage Shields: Mine Only
  • Hit for non-melee: Mine Only
  • Spell Crits: Mine Only

I also only select the triggers for the event we are currently on, so gina won't be working overtime looking for ALL the triggers from every event from TBM, TDS, and etc.

You're welcome, Furro!

For anyone needing disease potions I usually hand out 3 of each potion type on raids, since I carry maybe 60 of each on me. If you want to get more let me know in advance (can send me in game email). I use Aderirse Bur for the XIII, and Dream Dust for the XV, if you want to contribute components.

I've posted my spell lineup for this raid in the shaman guide post.

1. Reckless Regeneration
2. Reckless Restoration
3. Spiritual Swell
4. Krasir's Recourse
5. Historian's Intervention
6. Glacial Gift/Reefmaw's Bite
7. Srasku's Curse
8. Eradicate Curse
9. Unity of the Doomscale
10. Kromtus
11. Shear of Renewal
12. Roar of the Lion

I need to remember to take some screen shots for healer perspective. Someone could do the DPS perspective and CC if they differ enough?

Upcoming Events & Strategy / Re: TBM - Crypt of Sul - T3 - Anashti Sul
« on: August 11, 2016, 06:13:35 AM »
I was wondering if during this time if someone who is not at 100% agro steps up to Anashti while the MTO is backed away with full taunt, will she turn and smack down said person? That's how rooted mobs act usually, that's why I was asking. So I'll know to take the long way around here instead of running across the center of the room to get where I'm supposed to be.

Question, during mini phase when Anashti is rooted, she attacks those whoever gets within melee range, correct?
