Brief Event Overview & Strategy

Strategy: Assist MA.

Mechanic - Glowing Rune - Fire Suppression Device:

Glowing rune located in middle of event room.  This suppression ward appears to extinguish Everburning Breath (EB) DoT.

The glowing rune periodically casts Fire Suppression (DD + Stun), and 10s later casts Mystical Suppression (Melee + Spell Silence).

When you are hit by Everburning Breath (EB), move into Line-of-Sight (LoS) of the glowing rune in the middle of the event area.

You have a 10 second window when the rune fires Fire Suppression -- That should remove EB -- Then get out of LoS before the rune casts Mystical Suppression to avoid being SILENCED.


In-game Achievements, can provide some hints.

This is a preliminary write up, which will be amended accordingly based on our experiences and feedback provided by our raiders.

Achievements

Draconic Rage - Win after allowing the ancient dragon to become fully enraged.
Total Control - Win after using the appropriate crowd control on every non-twisted drakeling.
Incorruptible - Win without allowing anyone to be touched by the living corrupted blood.


Zone wide AE - Aura of Kor-Sha

Appears in song window.  Group and Raid Achievements negate the effects.

Aura of Kor-Sha    Inhibits: Crit Nuke Dmg, DoT Dmg, Heal Chance, HoT Chance, Hit Chance, Crit Hit Dmg.  Cap Mana at 80%Effect message: Dark magic infests your blood because it is not of the dragon.

Trigger Package Updates - Friday, July 20, 2018

Bumkus made two additional trigger overlays.  He said it's nice to know when the next EB cure and SILENCE is incoming.  I agree.  These overlays compliment the existing triggers.

I also included a small tweak to the Mystical Suppression overlay trigger Bumkus made, so that 10 seconds before the next SILENCE is about to fire, it will warn: NEXT SILENCE IN 10 SECONDS with text and voice.

Thanks Bumkus for working up the two triggers. :)

Saturday, October 20, 2018 - An Ancient Dragon Defeated!

We had an Ancient Dragon BBQ afterwards.  Everyone stuffed their faces.  We ran out of pie!
