Brief Event Overview and Strat

* Mandatory Audio/Text GTT Trigger information is available in the GTT section further down in this post.

This event consists of a boss, two repeating add stages, and various AEs, DT proxy totems.

Engage = Ryken and Bat adds.  We take each bat to 50%, it goes inactive, paths to Ryken and remains there doing AE stuns.  Once all 6 bats are inactive; Ryken will be moved and taken down to 80% when it goes inactive and the Muse stage begins.

Muse Stage = 25-35 spawn, immune to stun/mez/root.  Deflect tank on point.  Everyone else assist assigned MA# to your group (Headshot/Assasinate work on these).  We have 5 minutes to kill them all.  Each muse that remains, heals Ryken 1%. 

Dreamer Stage = Ryken reactives.  Four Blind Dreamers spawn, two different colors.  Two AE's in play, specific to an area: Outside room = Melee Silence.  Inside room = Caster Silence.

BLACK colored BLIND Dreamers = MELEE DPS, INSIDE ROOM ONLY.  Assist MA1.

YELLOW colored BLIND Dreamers = CASTERS DPS, OUTSIDE ROOM ONLY.  Assist MA2.

When the dreamers are killed, we take Ryken down another 20% approximately, and the above stages repeat (Muse, then Dreamer). 

Reminders: 

Just prior to each Muse stage, we need to gather in the designated area and let the assigned tank deflect for the initial spawn.  A few moments later, MA's will call to DPS/kill.

While Ryken is active; except for during Dreamer stages, a lightning ball, and sounding stones roam around.  AVOID THESE, or get DD'd.

9k VIRAL MANA DRAIN DoT - Targets random players, when trigger fires, RUN AWAY from others to avoid spreading it.  Pattern = Sounds disrupt your thoughts and drain your mind

  • Hits for 32000
  • Leashed to inner area; if pulled out, warps and resets aggro.
 
AEs:

Commanding Voice - Single-Target Charm (2 ticks)

Wretched Rhetoric - 20k DoT (Curse 32, PBAE 200', 55s int)

Dreadful Diatribe - Single-Target FEAR (1 tick)

Monologue of Melancholy - Melee SLOW + Snare DoT (6 tick, PBAE 110', 60s int)

Bouncing Bombast 25k DD + Knockback/up (PBAE 30')

Echoing Eulogy - 10k DoT + Melee SLOW (6 tick)


Additional Objects that AE:
 
Couple non-aggro objects roam around AEs:

A lightning ball = 40k DD AURA.  Moves around when Ryken is active, but not during Blind Dreamer stages.

Sounding Stones = Float around outer ring and randomly cast Lightning Bolt on players = 30k DD


BAT ADDS:

SIX of these bats spawn shortly after engage.  They are called "a filqua toneglider".
  • Hit for 20000; AE Stuns every few seconds (Overwhelming Screech)
  • When one reaches 50%, it goes inactive, paths to Echo Ryken and stays there; but continues to AE Stun!
 
Muse Stage

Ryken goes inactive; 25-35 adds spawn.

We have 5 minutes to kill them all.

Ryken regens for 1% for each muse left alive after 5 minutes elapse.

Muse Details:
  • Immune to Stun, Mez, Root, Snare
  • Can use HEADSHOT & ASSASSINATE Abilities.
  • Self buff with 600 pt DS (Assigned Cleric, use your Viral MoK line to remove this)
Be Aware:

Just before last Muse dies and/or 5 minute timer elapses: Casters move to outer ring area; Melee be inside the room.  This is due to Melee silence AE outside the room, and Caster silence inside.

We'll try and remind of this every time this stage happens.



Dreamer Stage

For this stage, we deal with TWO types of statues that spawn and must be killed immediately.


BLACK colored BLIND Dreamers = MELEE DPS THESE:
  • Spawn random location INSIDE of room.  Assigned Tanks be on the ball!
  • Melee DPS assist MA1 and kill immediately.  Do not leash them outside or they'll dispell.

YELLOW colored BLIND Dreamers = CASTERS DPS THESE:
  • Spawn random location OUTSIDE of room.  Assigned Tanks be on the ball!
  • Caster DPS assist MA2 and kill immediately.  Do not leash them inside, or too far outside or they'll dispell.

Varioues AEs from these Dreams include the following:

Dissonance of Depletion - 15k MANA DRAIN DoT (Viral, 12 Targets, 4 Tick Duration).

Stinging Sound - 30k DD (Range 30', Targeted)

Voice of Pain - 25k DD (Frontal Conical)

Balance of the Nameless - Self Dispell (if leashed, as I ref'd above).


SOUNDING STONES:

There are SIX of these stones (totems), that path around the inner room.  They don't aggro and cannot be killed.  When the statues are killed, these totems despawn and reappear in the outer ring of the building area.

AEs:

Lightning Bolt - 30k DD (Frontal).  Hits you if you get near them.

Lightning Shock - 20k DD + Stun (Single).  Hits you if you get near them.

When all Blind Dreamers are killed, they'll despawn and reappear in the outer ring area.
