Oddly enough, they cancel it from about 8pm EDT / 5pm PDT til about 1am EDT / 10pm PDT on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

I suppose everyone could just log off and nap during those hours then because I know some people are losing sleep over it  ;).
Unless of course instead of turning the xp off they could increase raid XP 1000%, then you'd have to beat boxes back with a stick... or a conch in our case~
