I work on the weekends so havent had a chance to post and the gambosoft.com forums look unused. I have a similar problem to sharran i believe. The error details are as follows.....

For anything using .NET, I try the program first, if it doesn't run, look to the developer for the exact version they used, and install it.  Multiple versions of .NET can co-exist on the same system without issues.

Re: GTT

.NET 2.0 was used according to the download page (http://gambosoft.com/Pages/Downloads.htm).

Do you have .NET 2.0 installed?  If not, download it the following MS link Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=1639).

There's three files at that link.  Select the file appropriate to your OS (32bit/64bit).  From the error messages, you look to be running Win7, but I can't tell if it's 32bit or 64.  If you don't know, you can find out by going: Start menu -> Search box type and run: msinfo32
Within the window that pops up, look next to System Type:, it'll be x86-Based PC, or x64-Based PC

Back to your download page, select the related .NET file, NetFx20SP2_x64.exe or NetFx20SP2_x86.exe for example in this case.

Another question, related to GTT.  Are you using the installed version, or the standalone?  For testing, I've run the standalone on a Win7 laptop, with .NET 2.0 installed, and no issues.

Re: GINA

I don't use GINA yet, but I'm looking to migrate in the short term.

GINA download page (http://eq.gimasoft.com/gina/Download.aspx) states it uses .NET 4.0.

Even though it says it'll prompt to install if it's not present, I wouldn't take that as all is fine.  It could be just looking for any version 4.0 and above and accept it...  Download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) (http://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=17851), and see if GINA works.

Hope this helps, let us know how you make out.

I wish I could help with those errors, but I know more about using the program and issues with it and EQ than it just crashing upon install.

The fact that neither GTT or GINA work does suggest a common problem between them, probably the .NET framework.

Or maybe a permissions problem for the directory.
