I am a big fan on Brutal Onslaught. The 15 min delay on it is the downside to it, so I try to save it for Named's. It really does a great job on adding extra dmg towards the fight used along  with Stragegic Strike and Flash of Anger Rk II. Doing my crits, added with double attack, lay the best damage!
This is what I did last week killing a trash mob..

Decender lands a crippling blow (88709)
You slash a pool of darkness for 88724 points of damage.
You have slain a pool of darkness.

So. 88,709 + 88,724 = 177,433 points of damage in one swing!
