Interesting that he casts an effect on 3 people, but 1 person gets 1 effect, the other two get a different effect.  Wonder what those effects do?

Not sure if this is the place to post or not, but here it goes...

In looking back on some of my old achievements for raids, I realized we have never gotten a few from CotF, that we should be able to get.

I would like if we are done with Arx for the week to consider doing Bixie 2, and trying for Un-Bee-leavable (kill 3 Bzzavvls in 30 sec of each other) as well as I'll Bee Back - killing 18 of the blue cons together.

With our new levels and gear, this should be a fun distraction, and can be done in the same try.

Another week, I'd like to try Defense of Lendiniara, Outlast, Outfight - kill 15 of the blue con adds...

This would get me the raid achievements all done for CotF, and while I realize the loot unlocking isn't critical from those raids, it would give a good sense of completion.

Interesting strategy posted on Evilgamer.net regarding way to beat ToR and avoid some of the mana drain issues.  The strategy from there is cut and pasted below.

Ours is as follows.

 Trigger event.
 Beat on boss
 Offtank / mez the 4 blues till 3 the mini named spawn,
 Kill the blues - Kill adds as they spawn
 Beat the 3 mini named to under 5% and then kill 2 of them Leave arch mage up and off tanked while rest of raid meds back to full.
 Kill arch mage and then beat boss down to 28%
 During this phase keep the blues mezed / off tanked but kill the evoker/vicar mobs till you have 8 scout/myrmidon mobs.
 Once he is at 28% ish (not below 26%) then beat all 8 blues to 10% health.

 Now the fun starts.

 Mini burn the Boss to 5% HP lock should be very quick.
 Knights deflection tank the horde of adds.
 Full burn on the Reds defiler and advisors first.
 AoE from Zerkers and Rogues to kill blues
 All adds down then finish the boss when his HP unlock.

The issue I have with this, is that the Red Con adds, like the Advisor are just melee for 30 seconds.  After they've been alive for 30 sec, then they cast the viral HP/Mana drain, and it's a brutal drain - I don't think we can survive getting more than once or twice (incurable, lasts for 1 minute (10 ticks) and drains 10k hp/m/e a tick). 

If we can split the dps (this is a BIG if, when you look at Oruatyrim's parse of DHs 2, none of the casters except me and Bdaillya were on the DPS list for the adds - am sure they are killing Bayle, which is OK, but if they disregard targets in Tower, we're never gonna win) accurately, and power Kyle Bayle down 5% in the time it takes to kill the 2 red con adds, we can do this very easy.  The trick is staying alive and in good condition mana-wise to this level, so that you can do normal burns when we need too - I know, easier said than done, but it should be our goal.

Here are a couple of observations from the win, but of things that need to be done more efficiently.

First, I think the kite team will be sorted to 1 group, in order to better focus on kiting.  They need to make sure that they know where lichs are being tossed and NOT kite in that area.  Also, please pay attention to terrain - if the mob following you goes into the water it CANNOT be damaged by spells unless the caster is also underwater, this loses a ton of dps.

Second, when kiting Banshees, they can be snared, kite them in front of the raid body (but not through raid).  For melee on the banshees watch out, if the person getting chased is caught, they are charmed, and the next person is immediately chased, if you are in melee range, you will be insta charmed so maybe do more ranged dps.

Also, only 3 lichs can be alive at a time, so when we get down to 3, the MA will only call assist on the repopping mob, to make sure we don't have a respawn of a banshee.   

This will slow the killing process a little, but needs to be done for the safety of the raid.

We need a touch more dps in the groups protecting us.  When the puppets get to us, they hit very weak (1kish) but occasionally proc a 500k dd nuke.  I don't quite have 428k dmg mitigation, so I am dying...
