Brief Event Overview

Staged event with a timer for each stage.

Upon event start, a group of adds spawn outside the gate portal to the west.

Stage 1: Gargoyles and Stonegrabbers

Four grinning gargoyle adds go active and inactive.

Four shadowstone grabber adds.

Stage 2 activates upon death of 3rd shadownstone grabber.


Stage 2: Torgarath Tekar, Pli Liako, Centien Detraias, Xin Thall Tavuel, and Adds

Torgarath Tekar targets players with various emotes.

Pli Liako add casts Light and Dark auras - Overlapping auras results in Complete Shadow (Cap HP and Mana at 75% + 35% Melee Slow).

Stage 3 activates upon death of 3rd named.


Stage 3: Kratakel, Lord Misery -- Light and Dark Servants, and Other Adds

Kratakel, Lord Misery targets players with various emotes.

Servant of light and darkness adds spawn.  Two darkness adds merge results in overwhelming darkness.

As servant adds are killed, Kratakel HP unlocks.

Various other adds spawn periodically: a great raven, bats, pools, and beetles.


Strategy


Prep Clickies / Spells:

Several emotes in play require performing actions such as casting invisibility or enduring breath etc.

Below is a list of effects YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM ON YOUR OWN when emoted.

Stage 1:

Four areas designated with sufficient distance between them to avoid AE overlaps.

Each area assigned a tank group.  Assigned tanks pull their shadowstone grabber add to their designated area.

Main raid positioned at the designated area near the gate.

Grinning Gargoyle adds tanked at main raid designated area near the gate.

When all gargoyles killed:

Kill two grabbers then the last two at the same time.

Raid kills shadowstone grabber at SW (gate), then North.

Raid then moves and kills South and East (upper) at the same time.

Casters and Rangers DPS East (upper) grabber from South campfire; adjust accordingly.

Stage 2:

Main raid positioned at SW (gate) location.

Move Pli Liako add when Light/Dark emote fires -- Do not overlap the auras, or we suffer Complete Shadow (Cap HP and Mana at 75% + 35% Melee Slow).

Enchanters and Bards - Charm waning phantom adds.

Kill Centien Detraias, trash adds, Torgarath Tekar, then kill Pli Liako and Xin Thall Tavuel at same time.

Casters and Rangers DPS Pli Liako; adjust accordingly to ensure it dies at same time as Xin Thall Tavuel.

React to emotes.  Four different targeted player emotes in play during this stage.

Stage 3:

Servant of darkness adds must be kept apart otherwise they'll merge and create overwhelming darkness.

Reusing the four areas designated in Stage 1.

Each area assigned a tank group.  Assigned tanks pull their servant of darkness add to their designated area.

Main raid positioned at the designated area near the gate.

Servant of light adds tanked at main raid designated area near the gate.

Assigned MT group tank Kratakel at SW (gate); reposition each time Shadowstep occurs.


Dark Aura & Light Mechanic:

Nine players are emoted every 1 minute 40 seconds.

A Dark Aura appears around three players.  The remaining six players are Light emoted.

If a Light emoted player comes into contact with a Dark Aura, it spawns "a shade (Freed)" add.

If any Dark Auras overlap, then shadows merge, and overwhelming darkness is created.

The idea is to have Dark Aura emoted players split up and each go to a specific location.

Light emoted players move West to a designated location (just in case one or more Dark Aura players fail to move from main raid).

Bane Damage:

MA Kill Order:

Stage 1: grinning gargoyles, shadowstone grabbers 2x, last two shadowstone grabbers at same time.

Stage 2: Kill Centien Detraias, trash adds, Torgarath Tekar, then kill Pli Liako and Xin Thall Tavuel at same time.

Stage 3:
- Kill servant of darkness adds, then servant of light adds; except leave one light servant up, a great raven, then Kratakel, Lord Misery, rinse/repeat raven repop/etc.
- Bats, Pools and Beetles can be killed without assist by bane damage

Brief Event Overview

The Primal Vampire is boss.

Floating feast adds spawn throughout event based on boss HP, and drop Blood Sacs when killed.

Several tenacious tick adds spawn shortly into event and latch onto players.  Ticks stop spawning after boss reaches 45%~ HP.

Two amorphous vampires spawn at boss HP percent: 75, 50, 35, and 20.

If amorphous vampires are not killed quickly enough, The Primal Vampire will heal.

When boss reaches 40%, random players targeted with long duration charm. 

Killing floating feast adds breaks charm.

Killing a charmed player results in massive AE damage and other detrimental effects.

Yellow auras appear random locations from 35% boss HP onward.  Players caught in aura hit with large amount of damage.

Boss HP locks at 5%~ and 3%~ while players charmed.


Strategy

DO NOT HAIL The Primal Vampire -- Otherwise event will start.

Assist MA.

Watch calls for DPS OFF and re-assist.

Control DPS on boss to avoid spawning amorphous vampires at the same time tick adds already up.

Amorphous vampires must die fast, or boss HP heals.

Move out of Yellow Aura - Big damage - Move to where MT moves to stay together as a raid.


Blood Sacs:

For assigned players only.

Blood Sac drops from Floating Feast adds.

Currently, we are using Blood Sac's to combine and create Enlarged Sac of Blood for the Target AE click.

Combine Blood Sac + Blood Sac to create Enlarged Sac of Blood.

Combine Enlarged Sac of Blood + Blood Sac to make Big Sac of Blood (Target AE clicky)


Tanks:
- Tank amorphous vampire at NORTH campfire
- Tank ticks, floating feasts, and boss at SOUTH campfire


Healers:
- Splash
- Keep your groups HP topped off -- Massive AE/DoT damage in play
- Clerics, can use Turn Undead DoT on an amorphous vampire

Big Sac of Blood Use:

Floating feast adds spawn based on boss HP percent (small increment 2-3%~).

When a floating feast is killed:

If Big Sac of Blood effect is not present, then floating feast add will cast Feeding Frenzy when killed.

If Big Sac of Blood was used recently, the lingering effect will prevent the floating feast add from casting Feeding Frenzy when killed.

Feeding Frenzy: 450k PBAE + Mana Drain (150' range).

Brief Event Overview

Six Thall adds spawn at event start.

Unkillable Light Orb shades with damaging auras spawn periodically and path up and down the the hallways.

When all Thall adds killed, two named minibosses activate: Fade and Umber.

Once both Fade and Umber are dead, boss: Keltakun, Last Word, spawns in east room.

Three auras in play during boss:

AURA     Player Contact
PURPLE - Causes lot of damage
YELLOW - Ports player to penalty area for short period
WHITE - Protection from damage

Keltakun, Last Word spawns various adds:

A shadow chainer - Spawns two at a time
A shadowstone jailer - Spawns two at a time based on boss HP
A stolen shadow - Spawns one for each lingering player corpse


Strategy

Kill six Thall adds.

Kill Fade miniboss.

Take Umber miniboss to 15% and HOLD DPS.

WAIT for path to be clear of Light Orb shade auras.

When path clear of auras - EVERYONE move to EAST door.  Main Tank drags Umber to east door.

Kill Umber at east door.


Boss Stage:

Stay on PLATFORM - Do not hang back on bridge or small room.

No Calls - REZ ONLY - Shadow adds spawn from player corpses.  Take rez immediately.

Boss HP locked when one or more jailers alive.

MA1: Assist MA for Boss + Jailer + Stolen adds.

MA2: Rangers and Casters - DPS Chainer adds.


PURPLE Aura:

Purple aura is BAD.

Purple aura causes lot of damage.

Move to where Main Tank moves boss; to stay together with raid for splash heals.


YELLOW Aura:

Yellow aura is BAD.  If you touch it you'll be ported into a penalty area away from main raid and rooted for 36 seconds.

When root fades, return to raid by moving out of the chamber and you'll come to a platform with a bridge.

The bridge will be UP or DOWN.  To raise the bridge, look for a white crystal and click it.  Wait for bridge to appear from below then cross and return to raid.

Note: Healers - When waiting for bridge to float up you'll be in range to heal players at raid.


WHITE Aura:

White aura is GOOD.

Starts out as a big purple aura then changes to small purple aura and then a small WHITE aura appears.

Move to small WHITE aura for protection.

You can be a little off to the side of the white aura and still be fine.  Sometimes adjustment is needed because Yellow auras can be really close to the White aura.


Tanks:
- Thall adds, one tank be point to trigger event and deflect incoming adds; other tanks pickup their assigned add
- Thall adds, try not to leash, keep inside doorway; find the sweet spot

- Fade and Umber MT, try not to leash, keep inside doorway; find the sweet spot

- Chainer adds don't move - Can hold aggro from afar instead of direct contact tanking

- Stolen shadow adds - Hard hitters; need to be tanked

- Jailer adds - Movable, can be directly tanked


Healers:
- Splash

Boss Spawn: Keltakun, Last Word, speaks quietly, but everyone hears, 'Come and die, delay and you may as well leave under your own power.'

Boss Vulnerable: As the last jailer falls, Keltakun, Last Word, becomes vulnerable.

When all Thall adds killed, two named minibosses activate: Fade and Umber.

Spawn Emote: With the death of the last Thall Tetoracu Liako, Fade and Umber rouse themselves to fight.


Fade   Fade Away - Snare + Attack Debuff (single target, 18s duration)
+ Cast: Faded Away on Duration Fade
Emote: Fade begins to emit shadows.
Emote: Fade lays its shadow upon SoandsoA, SoandsoB, and SoandsoC.
Effect Message (1st Person): You feel yourself fading.
   Faded Away - SILENCE + Suppresses Healing (single target, 30s duration)
Effect Message (1st Person): You have faded away.
Note:
- Inconsistent time from emote warning to Fade Away cast on targeted players (6s, 0s)
       
   Radiating Shade - 290k PBAE (100' range)
Effect Message (1st Person): Shadow engulfs you.
Note:
- Players with Fading Strength effect from Thrall adds will take increased damage from Radiating Shade

Warning Emote: Umber claps its hands.

She has left me no choice, just as she intended. Listen to me carefully. Once I leave She will be able to reach my realm and she will certainly start to devour it. You cannot allow this to happen. You must come to my realm and hold her minions at bay. Drive them back if you can. I will need time to recover, though I cannot be sure that I can stop Her, even in my own domain. The main power of her forces comes. Once I am gone, she will likely no longer see any need to kill you and her strength will be used to hold this gate.'

[Sat Mar 05 23:57:05 2022] Mayong Mistmoore shouts, 'There is no time for me to explain further, but I will do so if you can drive her back and help me close this gate.'

[Sat Mar 05 23:57:10 2022] A subtle female voice, heard by everyone and coming from everywhere, says, 'He is correct, children of Norrath. I have no further need of you and no desire to destroy you for doing what I needed you to do. You may have been needed to convince that traitorous fiend to open the way for me, but I will not tolerate your presence here any longer.  I offer you a reward for your service, no matter that you did not know what you were doing. Once you have taken your fill, leave here immediately and you will come to no further harm. Do not return. My servants will send you on your way.'
