Brief Event OverviewIn the event area are 12 burynai trash mobs, which respawn when killed. There are five different types of burynai, each has a special ability and/or AE.
At a point in the event, two large sporali mushrooms spawn in the middle. They are friendly, non-combative and cast beneficial heals.
Once a certain number of burynai are killed, a greken and 4-5 oozes spawn. All the remaining burynai despawn.
Following the death of the greken, the burynai adds respawn.
After a certain number of burynai are killed again, the Burynai Destroyer spawns and attacks.
Defeat of the Burynai Destroyer completes the event!
Event Failure/Reset Causes: Any burynai left unattended (unaggro'd) for 1 minute
Strategy OverviewBe aware: This is an overview only. Tank, CC, and Healer details are covered further down in the post and/or given at prep during raid time. Additional prep information may also be given during prep which is not currently covered here.
ZONE IN:Please WAIT for the call to zone in. We're setting up a kite inside, and it helps initially if everyone waits outside until we're settled.
POSITIONING:- Once inside, INVIS and move just outside the tunnel, and SOUTH. There's a open area, and a ledge for casters to stand on.
- Kiters need their space to operate in the remaining section of the event area. Please watch your drift.
- Assigned Paladin 1x, you'll be positioned WEST ledge, out of PBAE range in order to Splash us when mez'd/DoT'ed.
BURYNAI ADDS:ASSIST MA when called on. Paladin splash to cure PBAE Mez from Sapper, and Excavator AE DoT + spell pull/interrupt.
Casters & Healers - Both AE's from Sappers and Excavators are SMALL range, easily avoidable with positioning.
BURYNAI KITERS:As assigned only please, on specific burynai type.
Healers - Unless within the kite group, avoid heals on kiters, as you'll potentially draw agro and cause massive death.
GREKEN:Casters - DO NOT USE Fire spells or procs on this mini-boss. Fire based cast or proc causes the greken to heal for 5%.
Wizards - DO NOT USE
Ethereal Glaciation. Icon shows ICE, but it's really FIRE. I've PM'd Elidroth about it.
Bards - DO NOT USE
Cacophony. Fire DoT.
Pet Classes - Avoid equiping fire proc weapons on your pets.
Melee - Double check your weapons in case of fire procs and/or augs. +FIRE DMG stat augs on weapons do not count as fire casts and are OK to have.
Rangers & Monks - Use your beneficial debuff to remove its temporary self buffed Damage-Shield called:
Inner Flame.
Kiters - As assigned, your job is to round up the ooze adds that spawn and kite them off. They'll despawn shortly after.
SPORALI MUSHROOMS:Friendly! Leave them alone please, they're there to help us.
BURYNAI DESTROYER:ASSIST MA when called on.
It does not summon. Depending on our setup we may resort to kiting as we DPS it down.
Be aware: It casts single target charm, and has a PBAE Silence + Stun.
