Brief Event Overview and Strat

This event takes place over various stages, involving everything from adds, to mini-bosses, to final Librarian boss.

We begin by clicking books to spawn adds, and collect a book called "Words of Opening".

With the book, we advance to the next stage, which involves killing animated book adds until we're emoted and advance to the story stage.

The stories we spawn by clicking pedestals; which sometimes spawn a story, sometimes 1-4 book dervishes which we must kill instead.

During this stage, The Librarian will activate and we must OT her until we have our THREE Stories killed.

With the Stories down, we can damage The Librarian.

The Librarian spawns a random add at set HP: 80%, 65%, 50%, 35%, and 20%.

We must take the Librarian to 10%; while near The Butler in order to win the event.

Books & Dervishes

Assigned ONLY will handle book ground spawns and clicking.  This info below is for those assigned, and others to understand what's going on.

• Eight ground spawn books.  The books appear similar to the mission version "The Stuff of Dreams"

 

• There are two of each book:

 

• Adventures of The Broken Skull Pirates
• Journeys of Adventure
• The Adventurer Vanishes
• Vampire Diary

 

• We click books to spawn 1-2 book dervishes at clicker location; kill them and we're after a drop called: "Words of Opening".

 

• We take Words* up to the Butler, talk to him to start next stage.

 

• Book adds hit for 18000

Animated Books & Silence Aura

After we have the words drop we're after, we head back up to the Butler, and have some words with him.

This process triggers the next stage, that takes place in the spiral stairs library area.

• During this stage, animated books spawn one at a time every 60 seconds.

 

• Books hit for 18000

 

• Immune to Stun, Mez, Root (test anyway and report if different please).

 

• After 4 minutes, an emote appears, and we finish off books until they stop spawning.

Stories & Distracting the Librarian

At this stage, our goal is to kill three stories mobs (a spider, Billy the Piper, bunch of dwarves, order is random).

Our assigned clicker will click the pedestals on the 2nd floor of the spiral staircase to spawn a set of mobs.

Some pedestal clicks spawn mobs we don't need, ususally in set of 1-4 book dervishes.  Be ready!

While we're working on Stories, the Chief Librarian has spawned and will go active.  We have to keep her distracted; as we cannot kill her while she's invulnerable (Shield of Scrolls buffed).

Now and then, she will port around the zone, taking with her the TOP 6 highest on her hatelist.  This porting continues until we have killed three stories.
