Brief Event Overview & Strategy

Mini-event

For this event, we deal with Darkness and glimmer of light adds.

During the event, Darkness projects a Darkness AURA that expands as the event goes on.

Darkness is a debuff that Blinds, Melee/Caster Silences and Melee slows 99%.

There are glimmer of light adds which drop a Lightstone clicky (cures up to 12 targets).

Assigned groups, assist MA when called on to dispatch glimmer of light adds so we can obtain Lightstones to cure Darkness. 

Note: If the aura is around Darkness, and the Lightstone single-target cures only, we'll have tanks send tell to designated players who looted Lightstones to cure.

I'll post Boss/Group positional adjusts before our next run, to give us more time before Darkness aura hits bulk of our raid.

Overall, we did fine for first time on the event all.  Thanks for hanging in there those who were able to stay a little overtime.

Event Adjusts

Main Tank position Darkness south.

Groups will be assigned as: North-West, North, and North-East as indicated.

Please try and be within your area as assigned.  The clicky cures is an aura and only affects a set number of people within a tiny radius. 

Please only loot Lightstone clicks if you are assigned to do so.

I marked up a quick diagram to illustrate positioning.

Raid Groups and MT Locations

Added map markers for MT and groups.  It's important you're in the proper area as to your assignment because your curer is specific to your area that coincides with your /tell.  If you're in the wrong spot, and you /tell your curer for cure, they waste an aura cast because you're out of range of them.

Just to be clear, you're assigned to an area by group number with an associated curer.  You make a /tell hotkey with your curers name.  When blind, you hit your hotkey and the curer will click the lightstone for the aura cure.

Reminders:

• Never leave your assigned area unless you're a tank going after your add to bring into your groups area.
• Each tank assigned an add by name and index number (00, 01, etc).

Glimmer Adds Trigger

[Sat Sep 14 22:09:15 2013] Darkness grows darker as glimmers of light leave its body.

Pretty sure this is the adds spawning trigger.  It's firing every 45 seconds.  I made a trigger to help in this area.
