Brief Event Overview

Timed Event: 45 minutes.

General Usira is boss.

Avoid getting thrown from the leviathan.

Figure out how the dragons of Norrath can assist.

Emotes and ground auras come into play throughout event.

Various adds spawn throughout the event.


Strategy

Kill 2x a spire soldier.

Kill 2x a gilded mystic.

Avoid frontal and rear AE damage from General Usira.

Avoid frontal AE damage from gilded guardians.

Kill gilded guardians starting at 90 percent boss health.

Players emoted by gilded guardians, stack on guardian tank.  Use levitate to reduce knockback.

Assigned player will call for assistance from the dragons of Norrath based on event emotes.

Kill grand manipulators when spawned.  Venesh dragon assist will keep grand manipulator from casting.

Many venomous thrall will spawn when emoted.  Deflect and offtank until Harla Dar dragon assist scares them away.

Burn General Usira from 55 percent to 40 percent health to avoid floor tilt.

Stack on boss to avoid Neural Explosion beginning at 40 percent health.


Darta Krotek - Dragon Assistance

Darta Krotek says, 'She sent you in here too, huh? I can help you [leave] if you wish. Please know that the great dragons of Norrath are waiting to assist you should you need them. [Keikolin] the Enlightened, [Venesh] the Greenblood, [Harla Dar], and [Silverwing] brave the enemy fire and remain in the air nearby. I am told there is a barrier that they cannot breach at the moment. And, sadly, you should keep in mind that these massive dragons seem to mostly be immune to the power of our draconic allies. You will need to find ways that they can be helpful.'


Keikolin the Enlightened

Warning Emote: General Usira surrounds himself with an impenetrable barrier.
Success Emote: Keikolin the Enlightened roars and expends most of her magical power to break the general's defenses. The effort drains her and she is forced to flee the battle for now.
Benefit: Removes buff - The General's Shield
           

Venesh the Greenblood 

Warning Emote: A grand manipulator teleports into the room and begins accessing its power.
Success Emote: Venesh fills the room with gaseous breath. This seems to interfere with the ability to cast spells by some of the lesser scalewrought.
Benefit: Silences the grand manipulator
           

Harla Dar 

Warning Emote: The general summons a horde of venomous beasts.
Success Emote: Harla Dar breathes, expending all of her magical power to terrify the lesser scalewrought. Afterwards the great black dragon retreats.
Benefit: Despawns Venomous Thralls
           

Silverwing 

Warning Emote: The general activates one of the secondary control crystals, bringing the leviathan's magic and pain to bear on his enemies.
Success Emote: Silverwing breathes magic and power at a crystal, turning its energy upon itself and shattering it. The backlash drives him from the room seeking healing and a bit of rest.
Benefit: Counters - Suffering of the Leviathan
           


Tanks:
- Face boss and gilded guardians away from raid


Healers:
- Continuous splashing throughout event

Start Event

A spire soldier looks down at you. From what you understand of their odd version of the language of elder dragons, it tells you to leave or be [dead].

A spire soldier swipes at you in response.

Kill altered adds every seven percent of Hazuri health.

Advance Hazuri health immediately to next set of adds only if altered strikers spawn.

Players emoted with Power of the Skyguard, run until buff fades, straight line 250'.

Kill Replicants when they spawn at 70% and 40%.  Face away from raid.

Start Event

Atathus, the Red Lord shakes his head, 'Always brave, foolish, unheedful of your own weakness. That is why you are so strong, and so short lived.'



Achievements:

-- Kill each set of replicants within 15 seconds of each other.

- Nobody Explodes
-- Do not allow anyone hit by the Power of the Skyguardian to deteriorate into a Venomous Explosion.

Raider Essentials / Let's talk Target Rings

Something that is rarely talked about is just how aweful the Default target ring can be in certain situations.

It is not bad when you are attacking a mob that MA has targetted, because the MA Target ring stands out pretty well.

But imagine your are fighting the MA-targetted mob and you notice mobs going out of balance. You are a diligent raider, so you decide to target a different mob to help balance them.  This is when you notice how difficult it is to find your target ring.  It is really bad when blue-con mobs are on bluish floors, or red-con mobs are on orangish floors.  This problem gets even worse when you are trying to find a target ring for a flying mob that is well above your head and out of sight.

Fear not, there is a solution.

Go to EQInterface.com and click Downloads -> Interface Pieces -> 3D Targeting Ring.  You will find several targetting rings to choose from.  I went with RueUI CelticDragon with Indicators for my example here. 

When you see a Target Ring you like, click the download button.  This will download a ZIP file with various .TGA files and Targetindicator configuration settings.

Open the ZIP file, right click on the folder inside and click Copy.

Then go to your Everquest\UI Files folder and click Save.  If you go with my example, you will end up with \EverQuest\uifiles\CelticDragon_with_Indicators, and inside CelticDragon_with_Indicators with be .TGA files and Targetindicator configuration settings.

Now, in EQ, click Options, Load UI Skin and select the Target ring folder name you just created.

But note:  You cannot have any Spaces in your Target Ring folder.  It will look like it lets you load the new UI Skin but it won't work.

Once you Load your new UI Skin, you will need to zone for change to your target ring to take effect.

You will NOT need to resave your target ring whenever EQ patches.  The patcher only overwrites files that Daybreak itself updates.  It won't erase your new target ring folder.

Brief Event Overview

Defeat the Commanders.

Avoid damage from cannon fire.

Various adds throughout event.

Strategy

Timed Event: 30 minutes.  Enrage Message: Noise comes from below. It is clear that reinforcements will be arriving soon.

Kill 5x terrastriker cannoneers at event start.

Move into vacant area to avoid cannon fire damage.  Keep distance of 100' from firing cannons to avoid Cannon Backlash.

Kill Terrastriker Commander to 70 percent health.  Terrastriker Commander will go inactive and Skyguard Commander will become active.

Kill Skyguard Commander to 70 percent health.  Skyguard Commander will go inactive and Terrastriker Commander will become active.

Kill Terrastriker Commander to 50 percent health.  Terrastriker Commander will go inactive and Skyguard Commander will become active.

Kill Skyguard Commander to 50 percent health.  Both Commanders are now active at 50 percent health onward.

Keep Commanders together.  Commanders cast Separation Anxiety if apart for too long.

Balance Commanders.  Commanders will reset back to 50 percent health if balance is greater than four percent gap.

Kill adds as they spawn, 2x terrastriker cannoneers and a servant.  Servant paths directly to Commanders casting Energy Release once reached.

Players emoted with Overcharged Orbs, run to nearest northwest or southwest corner.  Orbs will explode after 25s.

Start Event

Event is triggered by keyword, speaking with an observer and saying 'die'.

An observer buzzes in your head. You can understand what this creature means, though what you hear is not words. 'We see you. Your end arrives. Your options are [leave] or [die].'

An observer puts a brief static in your mind and gives you the impression of the phrase, 'It is decided.'

Event Reset:

One of the monsters, left unattended, turns all the cannons on their enemies and you are forced to retreat.

The following are the absolute minimum graphic settings to see auras.  Zoning is required for the changes to take effect.

To make the changes, in game go to Options (ALT-O), Display tab.  On that page there's a Particles area with three little tabs: Spells, Env and Player.

Nice Rai.  that looks pretty tidy to me.  I figured you separated Triggers since your trigger packages always have different Catagories called out

This is my Gina set up. It looks a mess when I have the display windows open of course, but everything is nice and neat.  When I make triggers, I assign to proper display window.

In the category section I also color code everything.
