Brief Event Overview and Strat

STAGE 1

Objective: Destroy the shards; allowing Triunity to be damaged in between.

Event Area: Locations of the Relics

Map Locations: sepulcher_1.txt

There are 8 shards.  Each has an opposing God.

Triunity selects ONE Relic and sets it to 100% HP, the other 7 at 20%.

The opposing Relic to the one already at 100% we let regenerate to a point.  At 30%, it spawns TWO Defenders.  At 60% it spawns an Avatar.

The remaining Relics must be kept at under 30% or they'll spawn additional adds.  Assigned DPS will be tasked with keeping these in check.  Please watch /rs for your name and assignment.  Working out of the FLRelics:relics channel.

Assist MA, as we take each Defender to 60%, CHARM IT and SEND TO ATTACK THE MATCHING AVATAR (/con your pet to find out which Avatar).

Assist MA, as we take the Avatar to 50%; it turns into a charmed pet of the Tank at the time.  Tank SEND IT TO ATTACK THE OPPOSING SHARD (/con your pet to find out which Shard).

At this point, we are all DPSing the Shard to kill it completely; opening a DPS window against Triunity.  If a Relic happens to spawn any Defenders/Avatars, we will MEZ them.

When a Shard dies; any and all Defenders/Avatars despawn.

We repeat this process for 8 cycles in order to advance to Stage 2.


STAGE 2

Objective: Destroy Relics; which causes damage to Triunity (max 24%).

For this stage, the Triunity is surrounded by 8 inactive Relics.  Relics activate one at a time, and grant Triunity abilities.

When a Relic activates (goes vulnerable), ANYONE NOT ON AGGRO OF THAT RELIC will cause random DEATH TOUCHES!

When a Relic is killed, it spawns exploded shards on random players.  10 seconds later, they explode for 200k DD AE (45 range).  Run away from the shards before they explode!

Each Relic that dies damages Triunity for 3%.

Throughout this entire stage are several EMOTES that we must react to properly or everyone suffers (Mana Drains, PBAE DDs)


Additional Emotes and Penalty AEs:

Erased Emote (run away) - Erasure: 80k PBAE DD (45 range)
Mana Drain Emote (25 Corruption cure) - Mind Strip: 18k DoT + 8k MANA DRAIN PBAE.  If uncured = Mind Strip (Fear)


STAGE 3

Objective: DPS active Gods to 75%; opening a 30 second DPS window against The Triunity.

* Warning: NO SPLASHES, NO AE BARD SONGS, NO MGBing until Triunity is below 10%.

For this stage, The Triunity is active; but invulnerable.   SIX Gods are located on the 2nd floor area above.

When a God activates, ONLY 12 PLAYERS MAX should be on aggro.  Any player beyond this limit is hit by an AE CHARM at their location.

Each God activates randomly ONE at a time.  It must be taken to 75% in order to deactivate the other Gods and make Triunity vulnerable to attacks.

God activation is random, but order matters.  Gods that were active before and taken to 75% for example, will not open another DPS window again until they have all been cycled.  Any repeat God will be OFF TANKED. 

God Handlers will consist of: Two OFF TANK Groups.  Two DPS Groups.

There are several EMOTES in play involving both Triunity and the Gods.  Players assigned to each respective area must react properly, or face penalties.  Be mindful of where you are assigned please.

Near Triunity are THREE "A thelasa of the Triunity" (Alaran priest NPCs).  They heal Triunity when he is active.  Players are randomly emoted and must HUG one; causing it to be charmed.  Failure results in a random player being charmed.  Sick the charmed Alaran on one of the Gods to kill the priest.

When Triunity reaches 10%, the Gods permanently go inactive.

We must go through a complete 6 God cycle and take Triunity to 10% before we advance to the Final Stage.

Triunity Main Tanks - React to charm emote and Tank Swap accordingly.

Healers & Debuffers - Isolate/Setup your ETW properly to avoid accidently casting on Tanks/Gods outside your assigned areas (resulting in exceeding the 12 player max aggro rule).

Pet Classes - Be mindful your pet is not on the wrong target.




The Triunity

Hits for: Unknown (when active/inactive).

The Triunity AEs (based on which Shard of X is up):
Traitorous Retort - 400k DD cast on Avatars if they attack Triunity.
Touch of the Triune God - VIRAL 10k DoT (25 Corruption Counters), Recourse if NOT cured = 60k DD
Countdown - 2k DoT (40 Corruption Counters).  If NOT CURED = Deathtouch
Feral Reversion - Causes more FIZZLES (Dog Illusion)
Waterlogged - Adds 20k DMG to Tidal Wave (14k DoT+Push).  Cast 20s intervals

AE at end of each Vulnerable Stage: Retaliation of the Alsa Ril - 40k PBAE DD + Knockback (150' Range)

Emote and Penalty AEs:

Fail to duck at Triunity emote = Champion of the Triune God - CHARM (3 min) + 2.5m HP buff + 12k Melee Proc.
Fail to duck at a Relic emote = Forgetful Silence - 20k DoT + CASTER/MELEE Silence




Stage 1 - Shard Details

The Eight Shards produce various effects, adds and emotes that we must react to.   Triunity; when active, also inherits the effects of shards that are still up.

Fighting Will: Single-target 10k DoT + 500 End Drain + 300k Rune (35 Curse)
If uncured: 80k DD on players DPSing crystals
 
Loss of Steel: AE Debuff -500ATK + Procs a 14k DD on spell casts (20 Curse)
Note: Triunity punishes those doing the most damage to the relics
 
Shard of Kolos
Selyrah adds: 5 spawn randomly on players and explode (67k DD)
 
Shard of Oseka
Tidal Wave: 14k DoT + Slow Push
 
Shard of Alra
Casting Pain: 20k PBAE DD Proc Debuff (for every spell player casts).  30 Curse, 35' range.
 
Shard of Ryken
Buffeting Gusts: 20k DD (Single-target) + neg 1000 Aggro mod
(uncured recourse 30k, then 70k version)
 
Shard of Lunanyn
Vine Crawl: SNARE + MELEE SLOW + 20k Spell Proc Debuff (20 Poison)
 
Vine Encasement: 20k DoT (single-target) + STUN (45 Poison)
 
Shard of Sholoth
Spawn Orbs that path around and Proc Filth Cloud on player contact (23k AE DoT, if cured = FD)
Resurrection Aversion: Procs a 43k PBAE DD (40' range) on REZ CASTS
 
Shard of Ladrys
Spawns orbs that path to random relics; if nearby Blinding Lights is cast on you (40k DD + Blind + Knockback)

During this stage, Triunity is hitting harder and we continue to deal with emotes from previous stages (mana drain, hug, run away).

Assist MA call please.  This is our burn stage.

Splashes, Bard Songs and MGBing are OK TO USE NOW.




Text / Audio Triggers - Mandatory

Note: Be mindful to not alter the trigger pattern beyond changing of YOURNAME or MAINTANK where appropriate.  There are special characters that must remain in the trigger for them to work properly (ie: \ [ ] etc).

Edit before import:

Given there are almost a dozen triggers to edit, if you're comfortable with computers; using a text editor of your fancy, you can edit the voa-sep5.gtt and Search/Replace the YOURNAME with your character name before doing the import.  That saves you from manually editing each trigger afterwards in GTT, and can eliminate the possibility of typos or missing one or more.

Couple attempts at this tail end Friday.  Thanks everyone for staying little overtime to size things up.

Adjusts / Additions to Prep, for Stage 1:

Excellent run to 26% on Friday night.  Couple of adjusts and map changes for Phase 3.


MAP ADJUST:

Map has changed.  Fonts are larger and darker, and locations of the six gods for Phase 3 are now added.  Please download new map text file, and either replace yours with it, or if you know how, edit the file to add these locations (and remove any old orange relic text files you had):

Full Map of the event below.  Light blue section is RAISED LEVEL 2.  Relics are for Phase 1; in Phase 3, we move into northern room.  Triunity is down below, but G2-G5 up top with the six Norrathian gods.



PHASE 3 GOD GROUPS (G2-G5) TACTICAL ADJUSTS:
  • No pets on gods!  Pets ok on Triunity, but they count toward the limit of 12.
  • Off-tanks will be assigned a god, with a roaming backup.  DO NOT OFFTANK DPS GOD.  If your god comes up as the DPS GOD that round, simply revert to backup status.
  • Off-tanks, please read your god's effects (as above).  SUMMON TANK where possible (some snares make this difficult).  Try to angle your god's facing away from DPS/HEALERS if he has a frontal assault AE.
  • Before the gods activate, Shamans and other debuffers MAY LAND non-damaging debuffs onto the Norrathian Gods without getting onto hatelist.  Please attempt to slow each of the gods prior to activation.  Once the god has activated, do not attempt re-buff until next round (when debuffs are likely wiped).
  • Remember, only DPS GROUPS (4-5) may heal the DPS tanks or attack the DPS GOD that round.

For the short time we've spent on this event to date, we've made good progress.  We've learned and advanced to Stage 3, taking Triunity to 26% this past weekend.  We'll continue to push hard on this event going forward.

Please note, we also mix in our RoF farm events.  Last weekend; to maximize our time on Sep5, we dedicated Thursday for the clear up to Sep4, and Friday entirely to Sep5.  To further maximize our lockouts, we muscled in our RoF targets Saturday and filled the remaining time returning to Sep5.  As many regulars know, we don't normally stack a single night with current content farms (ie RoF).  So just be aware, it's merely how things played out last week, and it was logical for a push on Sep5 to acclimate as much as possible.

Strong effort and focus was evident by all those who've attended thus far.  We're very close to downing this event!  Hope to see everyone at our next run!
