Brief Event Overview & Strategy

Mini-event

Every 5 seconds Ulrich the Ageless randomly targets players and hits them with Lifetap which on fade casts Aging on the player. 

The Aging Effect Caps HP, Mana and Endurance at 50% and spell/melee slows.  To CURE it, move to one of the nearby BLUE AURAs.  However, DO NOT stay in the blue aura, move quickly IN and OUT of it.  If you stay in too long, you'll be hit with a Blast of Light 80k DoT.

Warning:  You have 18 seconds to remove Aging or you will be Death-touched when the effect fades (Death)

Reminder (future):

Do not move to this event early.  The mobs' aggro radius is quite large, and once it starts, may trigger a massive raid summoning mechanic when it then resets.  A reset event summons the corpses and living players to a location just outside Ulrich's room, and if Ulrich there, starts the event yet again (which can in turn, wipe the raid, cause people to miss loot from prior event, etc.).  Trash must be cleared in sequence prior to fight with Ulrich, consisting of 20+ harbingers.

Perhaps we should consider posting a map with gather points for each mini which lead down the path of adds; or, simply, as stated, not move until loot done within this instance.

Also noted: Ulrich has a rejuvination buff which makes it nigh impossible to damage him until raid mechanics are followed regarding Aging.  However, it was noted this evening (unverified yet) that having one person in each of the three auras dispelled Ulrich's buff.  Will test this if/when we do this mini again.

Recap from last night: Cure white robe only after snare hits you. Burns start after regen buff is first cured. Rangers to get into ooc regen before trash is done.

Event Adjusts

Added Trigger for "Your bones ache" (Aging effect).  When this fires, move in and out of a blue aura to cure.
Trigger for Lifetap "You feel your life drain away", changed to a WARNING.  This will give you a heads up that Aging is going to hit you when Lifetap fades.  Do not go into a blue aura yet, but GET READY TO!
