Brief Event Overview

Locked behind Xanzerok event.

Colossus of Skylance and six workers are visible upon zone in.

Find a way to remove the protective armors from the workers.

Magic Storms come into play during event.

Shadow auras are cast upon the ground to indicate some kind of warning.

Adds spawn throughout the event.


Strategy

Stony and Runic workers activate at start of event, three of each type.  Workers have a protection buff that can be removed by running them through proper storm.

Stony workers have Stony Armor that can be removed by running the worker through the red storm.

Runic workers have Runic Armor that can be removed by running the worker through the blue storm.

Players should avoid standing in storms for extended periods of time, as they both have damaging abilities.

Colossus of Skylance becomes active when all workers are dead.

Colossus casts the same stony and runic armors at 1m 45s intervals, alternating.  Use the same red and blue storms to remove protections, though removal is not instant.

Achievements for allowing boss to keep buffs or preventing boss from having both buffs at same time.

Colossus casts Rumbling Stomp at 1m 30s intervals which has a feign death component.  Feign death can be avoided by moving 80' away from boss.

Additionally, Colossus casts Thunderous Clap, frontal AE.  Triggers warn for both spells.

Colossus will emote a player and a large rainbow aura will appear around them.  Emoted player must run away to avoid hitting raid with AE damage and knockback from Boulder Slam.

At 70 percent health scrykin adds begin spawning and spawn every ~11 percent thereafter.

A bedeviled scrykin casts Reactive Power on player with highest hate and 15s later will attempt to cast Final Combination.  Utilize tank swaps to clear hate and avoid hitting raid with AE damage.

A crazed scrykin casts Sparking Soul, AE damage spell that casts at 25s intervals after initial cast.  Splash heal through damage or move 150' away from raid and range kill.

An absent scrykin is indifferent unless hit by magic, either player or NPC, then it will transform to a beserker.  Kill beserker or transform back to absent scrykin using mez or charm spells.

At 40 percent large purple auras begin to appear on the ground.  Players must move out of aura to avoid being hit by Skyfall.  Achievement for no one getting hit by Skyfall.



Tanks:
- MT face Colossus away from raid to avoid fronal AE
- Bedeviled scrykin tanks utilize tank swap to avoid hitting raid with Final Combination


Healers:
- Splash heal after Sparking Soul is cast by a crazed scrykin


MA Kill Order: a bedeviled scrykin, a crazed scrykin, a beserker, boss

Start Event

Event is triggered by keyword, speaking with Torm the Golden and saying 'now'.

Torm the Golden says, 'Do not be afraid. Torm here, so you safe. Magic not harm Torm, so Torm here to help. You get scared, Torm help you [leave]. Nothing stop Torm! But Torm not allowed to fight. Torm not happy. You fight. You start fight [now].'

Torm the Golden nods his head. 'Good. You fight like minotaur!'



Achievements:

- The Sky is Falling
-- Nobody gets hit by any of the Skyfall debris.

- Crack the Defenses
-- Don't let the colossus have both armors at the same time.

- Full Defense
-- Ensure that the colossus always has at least one of its magical armors.

- Enraged
-- Defeat the event after choosing the enraged option to start.



Lore:

Event Reset:

The Colossus of Skylance has been left to its own devices for too long. You fail to defeat the Colossus of Skylance.

The following are the absolute minimum graphic settings to see auras.  Zoning is required for the changes to take effect.

To make the changes, in game go to Options (ALT-O), Display tab.  On that page there's a Particles area with three little tabs: Spells, Env and Player.

Brief Event Overview

Locked behind Ashenback event.

Shar`Drahn is boss.

Magic Storms appear throughout event, occassionally changing, and having various effects.

Prevent the strongest of the adds from spawning during event.

Rock auras and walls come into play during event.


Strategy

Mount required for event.

Main tank will engage and position Shar`Drahn at southwest ramp.

Shar`Drahn has a frontal AE that casts at 40s intervals.  If frontal AE hits interacts with a storm, Clash of Power hits entire raid.

Ranged DPS position on south ramp to avoid majority of event damage.

Magic storms appear and change during event.  The most detrimental storm is the light blue one that will spawn a duplicate add of any player that enters.

At 75 percent health Flame auras begin to appear and continue every ~9 thereafter.

Assigned groups immediately locate and get in flame aura.  Number of players in aura dictate what type of add will spawn.

If players fail to enter flame aura an Elder Monolith spawns.  Boss will health lock until add is dead.  Achievement for not spawning Elder Monolith.

At 55 percent health rock auras begin to appear, indicating where rock walls will land. 

Players can use the walls to shield from Wing Surge, but if caught under the falling rock will fail Heads Up achievement.

At 40 percent health boss begins casting Wing Surge.  Mounts are essential for this portion of event. 

Players not mounted or shielded by rock walls are likely to get knocked off platform and zoned into East Freeport.

- Do not allow any mobs to pass the outer rim of platform, otherwise they will tether

- Splash heal at boss throughout event

Event is triggered by keyword, speaking with Gwyrk and saying 'insist' or 'enraged'.

Gwyrk says, 'You come to worship too? The most magnificent creature. All the power and strength of storm brought to life. Makes me feel insignificant, yet proud of my own small part in the magnificence of the world. And look at you, made of mere flesh and blood. I know we were told that the great one has lost his mind, has become broken in some way. But it is the nature of storms to be changeable. I do not know that anyone should [interfere] with the nature of the great one.'

Gwyrk says, 'As it is your nature, of course. Do what is needed or wanted from you. Restore things to their previous state. Allow nothing to change. I cannot argue with you. I can only offer you a way to [leave] when you wish. If you [insist] on fighting the storm, then I will wait here to see the results. Or, you can engage the great one when he is at his most [enraged] and I will wait some further distance away.'

Gwyrk says, 'If you wish to dive headfirst into the storm, that is your decision.'

Brief Event Overview

Ashenback is boss.

Fire and Frost storms come into play during event.

Adds spawn throughout event.


Strategy

Load cold spells for this event.  Any level as long as it costs mana to cast.

Ashenback has both frontal and rear AE damage spells.  Raid position on wings.

Ashenback summons a firestorm at the start of event.  The firestorm paths around dropping a puddle of flames at 50s intervals.

Stay out of both the firestorm and puddle of flames to avoid Scorching Mana.  Achievement for staying out of puddle of flames.

At 65 percent health, Ashenback will summon a second firestorm and adds will begin to spawn from the puddle of flames.

Kill adds as they spawn.

Around 45 percent, the first firestorm will become unstable.  Use cold spells on the firestorm until it transforms to a frost storm.

Remove Ashenback's Laval Armor by moving into the frost storm.  Achievement for only removing Laval Armor with frost storms once eligible.

In addition, the frost storm kills any adds taken into the storm and removes any puddle of flames the storm passes over.

The frost storm is active for 1m 15s before transforming back to a Firestorm.


Tanks:
- MT face Ashenback away from raid to avoid frontal and rear AE's


Healers:
- Continuous splashing throughout event.

Start Event

Gwark says, 'Such a proud and primal thing, the dragon. Even as, well, [damaged] as this one is, he's still magnificent.'

Gwark says, 'The destruction of the Plane of Magic damaged almost every creature living within it, and many outside too. The planes fractured slightly everywhere. We may never know to what extent. And with the mistress of this place gone, little can be done to fix it. Ashenback's mind was fractured as well. Never a kind creature, he is now much more aggressive and has been detrimental to any attempts to repair the harm done here. He has been attacking rescuers and victims alike. Perhaps it is the nature of the red dragon come to the fore, but who knows. If you could [subdue] him that would help greatly.'

Gwark says, 'If that is even possible, yes. I can't help you, of course. I'm not a combatant and I find it distasteful to harm beings like this. Let me know when you are [ready], or you can always deal with him when he is [enraged], if that suits your desires for some reason. Or I can assist you if you wish to [leave].'

Gwark says, 'Do your best.'

Strategy

Red target rings indicate where fragments falling from Arcstone will land.  Avoid getting crushed.

Storms appear during event.  Players may stand in storms to increase spell damage but will take HP damage at the same time.

Kill adds as they spawn.

Stack on flower to avoid spawning twisting strangle roots.

Kill manifestations before they reach boss.

Risha says, 'Ah, you have come to see the great Xanzerok, have you? Well, I suggest seeing him from here, don't go closer. The poor old thing was drastically affected by whatever happened here, whatever caused all this destruction. He has become irrationally violent, and nobody seems to be able to get near him at all. But I suppose you want to [try] when he calms or if you are feeling stout of heart you could approach him when he could be [enraged]. I can also help you to [leave].'

Brief Event Overview

The Loathing Lord, Teknaz, Bringer of Flames, and Glarubaran, the Great Storm stand together, yet apart.

Find a way to use their abilities against one another or prevent them from interacting at all.

Adds spawn throughout the event.



Strategy

Balance kill all three bosses, keeping them within a five percent spread.

When bosses reach 80 pecent health, a flame elemental, inferior spites and a payload specialist begin to spawn and continue to spawn every 10-12 percent.

Each type of add is linked to a specific boss.  Kill adds immediately as they spawn.

When bosses reach 60 percent health, stop dps on Teknaz only and continue balance killing Glarubaran and Loathing Lord.

At 40 percent health bosses will begin casting interaction spells; Stormshield, Lifeleash and Firecrash.

Lifeleash will break Glarubaran's Stormshield without failing achievement as long as Glarubaran stays within 150' range.

Both bosses must die before Teknaz reaches 40 percent health, or No Interaction achievement will fail.

A payload specialist drops bombs that cast Boom!  Assigned tank intercept and keep a payload specialist at least 150' from raid while ranged dps kill.

Choose to kill candlefolk or keep them alive as they spawn throughout the event.  Achievement for allowing no candlefolk to die.


Tanks:
- Assigned tank keep payload specialist 150' from raid


Healers:
- Constant splash healing throughout event


MA Kill Order: Adds, Balance all three bosses

The big one in the back is a washed up old storm giant of some sort, and that thing on the right appears to be one of Innoruuk's cast-off undead things. They are certainly ready for a [fight], though with you or each other it may not matter. I can get you out of here whenever you need to [leave].'

Brief Event Overview

Furro's waxing appointment to remove all that unwanted body hair goes horribly wrong.

Waxwork Abolishion is boss.

Various adds spawn throughout the event.

Use the ground auras to benefit the raid.



Strategy

Damage Waxwork Abolishion until it splits at 90 percent.  Further splits are based on how many waxwork splits are left alive when boss reforms.

Assist MA on splits.  No AE damage or multi-dotting to avoid multiple casts of Waxwork Blaze.

Kill adds as they spawn.

When ground auras appear, move inside aura to prevent waxwork globules from spawning.  Achievements for allowing five to spawn or none to spawn.



Tanks:
- Main Tank to utilize tank swap to reduce stacks of Scorching Hot Wax
- Face Waxwork Igniter and Lancer away from raid to avoid frontal AE damage
